PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

BRICKFORM Blush-Tone Acid Stain reacts with minerals that exist in concrete that has cured for at least 28 days. It penetrates the very top layer of the concrete surface with color that will not chip, crack, or peel. The colors produced in each section of concrete will be unique with captivating, multi-colored intensities that become a permanent part of the concrete.

USES 

Durable enough for commercial applications like restaurants, showrooms and retail spaces, BRICKFORM Blush-Tone Acid Stain also reduces surface-glare on walkways, driveways, patios, and entrances. Use BRICKFORM Blush-Tone Acid Stain with BRICKFORM Decorative Sandblast Stencils™ to create distinctive borders and themes. Interesting shades and colors can be achieved by using BRICKFORM Blush-Tone Acid Stain over concrete surfaces colored and antiqued with BRICKFORM Color Hardener™ and BRICKFORM Antique Release™ or concrete integrally colored with BRICKFORM Liquid Color™ to create eye-catching combinations that cannot be duplicated with other coloring materials.

LIMITATIONS

BRICKFORM Blush-Tone Acid Stain is not effective on many surfaces. Older or weathered concrete, or concrete subject to runoff or dripping water, or heavily sandblasted concrete may have little or no chemical reaction. BRICKFORM strongly recommends testing representative samples in different sections of the concrete, to determine suitability of the stain and final appearance. Stain colors Turquoise and Jade should NOT be used on slag concrete or in areas subject to water from the subgrade or standing water. Applying to slag concrete or exposure to excess water will darken or blacken the stained surface. When using these colors, they should be considered for interior purposes where the subgrade must be well drained and free of hydrostatic pressure.
