Insl-X Silathane Interior Exterior Acrylic Enamel

Product Description

a rust inhibitive system for use on primed or previously painted interior or exterior wood, masonry, plastic, and composition surfaces. Silathane II comes in a Semi Gloss and a Gloss sheen for maximum protection and can be used on interior or exterir surfaces. Its blend of high quality acrylic resins gives this enamel outstanding color and gloss retention under the toughest weather conditions. It is free of lead, mercury and other heavy metals. It is safe for use in nurseries, food establishments and other plants (Meets USDA standards for use on non-food contact surfaces in federally inspected meat and poultry plants). It is extremely durable and mar, chip and weather resistant, making it an ideal coating for equipment, machinery, ironwork, bicycles, tools, and boats-just about any surface where a higher gloss, impervious finish is desired.

For maximum protection, particularly on unpainted surfaces, enamel undercoat should be first applied. For maximum protection on ferrous metal surfaces, rust proof primer is recommended.

This enamel has the low odor, fast dry and water clean-up common to all latex and acrylic paints. Apply by brush, roller or spray. Clean up equipment with soap and water. Dries tack free in one to two hours. May be recoated or put into use after fur hours. Cover up to 400 square feet per gallon depending upon surface porosity. White, Black and Bronzetone, along with a tint base, are available in Silathane II Acrylic Semi-Gloss (533) and Gloss (532).
