Application Guidelines
  • Surface Prep: Sand the wood substrate with 120, 150, or 180 grit paper. The recommended primer for this system is Aquaprime 550-1600, which should be sanded with 280/320 grit paper before coating.
  • Mixing: Agitate thoroughly before use and maintain agitation throughout the application to ensure consistency.
  • Reduction: If needed, reduce with small amounts of water to reach the desired viscosity.
  • Recoating: For maximum adhesion, recoat within four hours after sanding the previous coat.
