GE RF100 Reinforcing Fabric
is a professional-grade, 100% polyester spun-laced textile specifically designed to add high-tensile and high-tear strength to roofing systems and Air and Water-Resistive Barrier (AWB) applications. It provides an extra layer of protection in critical areas, creating a waterproof and flexible membrane for both new constructions and building restorations.

Key Performance Features
  • High Strength & Durability: Engineered with high-tensile and high-tear strength, this dimensionally stable fabric offers excellent elongation for long-term performance.
  • Seamless Wet-Out: The fabric's design allows coatings to flow through and saturate it immediately, forming a monolithic, continuous reinforced surface that adheres fully to substrates.
  • Superior Conformability: Easily adapts to regular and irregular transitions, making it ideal for rough openings, penetrations, curbs, and corners.
  • Applicator Friendly: The pliable material is easy to shape and can be positioned or repositioned in wet coatings without damaging the fabric or the substrate.

Versatile Applications
  • Air & Water Barriers (AWB): Effectively spans static gaps up to ½ inch (13mm). It is commonly used for treating flashing, changes in plane, and inside/outside corners.
  • Roofing Systems: Reinforces seams and curbs on various surfaces including metal, single-ply, and modified bitumen roofing. It is also compatible with skylights, vents, scuppers, and HVAC units.
